When starting this process I like to quickly thumbnail for good composition ideas

From the thumbnails, I'll grab 3 of my favorites and smooth out the lines, making it more readable to decide then what I want to go with for the final

Line Drawing
Once a sketch is chosen I finalize it by creating a line drawing with correct anatomy and precise line work.
Work In Progress
I like to document my process work before finalizing the illustration. That way, if any changes must be made, it will be easier to fix them especially on a time limit rather than have to go back and restart.
